 grin grin grin

I just noticed the mutation function of Mandelbulb3d and I am quite delighted.  I have been telling people for years that they need to add such a function to their programs.  The last program to have such a working function was Fractint, a DOS program that these days has to be run on an emulator because it was written for Dos 3.2.  Fractint remains one of the top fractal generators and in part it is because of just this sort of function, assuming you can run it at all.

In Fractint this is called evolution, which is properly named because you can try out changes and then try out changes to those changes.  These changes are previewed on a grid which shows what you get by applying the changes to formulae or to parameters.  This is evolutionary because it does not have a predetermined end point but shows possible changes to an image.

This all makes this program much better, just because I was sitting here a few weeks ago wishing for this function.  I guess I need to check the forum more often.  Keep up the good work.
