hi jesse, i wonder if it could be done to save hybrid formulas as whole new single-formula
since mandelbulb 3d does not provide a formula editor, this comes down to a node based
formula editor, when providing basic operations like +,-,*,exp,/ as standalone formulas
new formulas could be easily created, but since the formula slots are limited to 5 the
possibilities are limited as well,

i know it would be hard to maintain a copy+paste text mode copy of the formulas, because
everyone could have own formula settings

but nevertheless i would consider this a remarkably extension to the hybrid forms ...

for interpolated hybrids the interpolation value would come additional to the used formulas
.... cheesy
