I dunno if this has been already suggested, but it would be great to see fractals rendering faster on my 64-bit system

Regrettably, development of Mandelbulb 3D has stopped. I believe it's been asked before when Jesse was still actively developing the program, but that he refrained from this because it would essentially have meant rewriting all code.
