Currently, we can upload images to our galleries, but there's no way to include animations.  Now, I wouldn't expect FF to come up with endless server space to accomodate everyone's video, but maybe a tweak can be done to allow links to YouTube to embed them.  This way, we can rate and add comments on animation as well as stills.

Thoughts?

thank you for the suggestion, in fact an update of the gallery would fix that, the latest version of the gallery features
using of flvs as gallery items, right now i havent had the time to update the gallery, because i have to make hand-tweaks
for the gallery front page to list only the last 30 days videos, but nevertheless, there is a bug in the frontpage anyways,
so the gallery update will be up in the next days ( week ? )

i just saw that the video addon costs 30$ for the gallery, i will buy that in the next weeks or so

as long as it is not supported directly you can use it like this:

upload a screenshot of your movie to the gallery, and post a link to the youtube video in the description, this should get replaced with the embedded video player of that site

Graet idea REv.. I have been able to post a video in reply.  But you can only do it by going to the editing of video on Y-tube then just copying code.  Will not imbed.
