Bacterius

http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=11519

This 4-formula fractal (Faehrten+_AmazingBoxSSE2+OctahedronIFS+Integer Power) has an organic and microscopic look but renders really slow.

Rendering with Mandelbulb 1.76 in 1200x900 and 1550 frames took more than 10 days. Had to reduce resolution for last frames because rendering 1 frame took nearly 30 minutes.

Best look in HD!

YouTube compression kills some of the details  :-
