Working on a height field generator for Ultrafractal (as far as I know, there isn't one in the public database just yet, or am I wrong?)
It's based on distance estimation (so no mesh generation or anything like that) and is reasonably fast : on-screen render of this image takes about 30 secs for 800*460)
