Nice one, would look good as the centrepiece of a ring. It will be great when 3D printing is photo realistic so the colours can be portrayed.

Thank you.  Yes, it would be good for jewelry, even as a broach or pendant.   cheesy

Actually, it should not be that difficult to 3-D print with colors, and I believe they already have some form of this now.   It probably works very similar to ink jet printers, but using different colored liquid/powder materials as they are being laid down in successive layers.   But it definitely would be much slower than the current mono-color 3-D printers.   Not sure how well the current color versions are at mixing and matching to the original digital object.
