Inside of many brot fractals and boxes lies interesting structures. Jet they are largely unexplored.

At first, wievport (camera) must get inside of fractal. Basic Amazingbox allways result of camera being inside, so just pick abox formula, switch to inside render (lower maxiter) and vuala.

But it's pretty impossible to zoom inside of Bristorbrot usin NAVI's probably coz it was more intended for zooming to surface. Best way to get came inside is in coordinates window to writte Zstart =0, so wiewport are in middle, and alsou Xmid=-0.5 if it's brot. Further zoom in is pretty hard, so I switched back to outside render, put right coordinates and then went back to inside render. Pretty interesting result alsou are of combined "inside and outside render" especialy if there are outsides left, throught fractal would look thin as single pixel.

There are two problems with insides, slow render, and noisy pixels. Reducing Max iterations of insides to something about 20 -25 solwes first problem, this can enlarge size of fractal insides. Lower raystep multiplier or/and set Viewing 1:2 helps to solve the second problem.

Nicest looking and the most 3D mandelbrot probably is Makin3D-3-4, so I picked it. Outside render:

Deeper zoom into Makin3D-3-4 inside and different colour palette. Max iterations =22. Were a bitt noisy, so 1:2 wiev. Maybe it should had been 1:3 or 1:4:

Some other formulas do have interesting inside renders. Beth641 + negative scale _asdamTrans used in previous thread.
This fractal had extremely slow inside render so I set maximum iterations to 15 instead of default 60.

Somehow triplex formulas have the most boring inside renders. In inside they look exactly as from outside, as if all triplex fractals are one pixel thick. Probably this is how inside render are suposed to be, but this means no fun of discovery.

Some colour pallettes and lights I used. Not all ar mine, say "Stalaktites and Stalagmites" is by Lalla. I was thinking, that there should be downloadable large lights pack with > 20 lights of whatever origin.

and is it possible to colour the sectioned plans we make in the fractals? I mean, not in just one colour, but having like a pattern in the sectioned face...

While some of these pictures are beautiful,  I can image the 3D grail to look very boring from the inside. I mean, if you iterate the standard 2D mandelbrot enough, there is only inside space in the bulbs. And they are almost disconnected. So you will find yourself in one of those almost-sperical 3D bulbs, looking for very small holes to crawl through the next bulb. Maybe I'm just too much focussed on the end of the iteration process, while it's actually about the process itself.

you can adjust the colors of the 3d object easily in the lighint tab, apply gradients and stuff, many possibilities you have to check out, try playing with the sliders and the gradients in the lighting tabs

Thank you people! I know I can play with ths sliders, but the question was if I can get anything with so much details as Mickhogan does in his detailed cross. I wonder if all those colours are given by the 3d or by the gradient in the cutted face...
