In this example a dIFS setup

1) create any dIFS image like the attachement and set view [position reset] to see it from top
2) set field of view [FOVy:] = 1
-> to remove lense distorsion
3) Save the image (in example 2.000 x 1.200px) and also save the paras/.m3i (backup)
4) Image > Photoshop -> white bordes, so that final size is 8.000 x 8.000 and source image is in the middle
5) Save this image to your map folder

6) Generate a heightmapIFS - its only for the floor
-> set map to a value u have NO image in your map folder (for a plane floor)
7) Set [H offset] for heightmapIFS, to see only parts of the original model/formula
-> the other/background parts are covered by heightmapIFS/floor
8) activate in lighting > Object > [Use a map for diffuse color]
-> set [Map number] from step 5)
-> set (projection) [Mode] to "wrap 2" and Scale it > match to object (sometimes u have to adjust scaling/position in photoshop)
--> with example image (goo.gl. link previus post) 8.000 x 8.000 it matches good in one slider position
9) render
> and freestyle light/ambient ... setup

You can has cheesy a floor with boxifs.
Use one dimension = 0.05 and all others = 10000 smiley
