Hello friends,
after one more sleepless night it's now finally done: JWildfireMini 1.0 is available in the official AppStore. There are two versions, a completely free version without the ability to export parameter files, and the full version for 2 EUR. (Note that you still can export images in the free version and there no other limits as well).

Enjoy!

Here are links to the FREE and the FULL version.

Hi!
I'm just trying your software and like it! smiley I noticed that it uses multiple cores.
But I have some questions: how can I save image, and set parameters? It is possible to zoom?

Regards,
Bertalan

Modify:
Unfortunately I cannot quit from this program: it uses 92% of my CPU even after I quit. I have to close it from task manager. (I uses Intel CPU, maybe there is compatibility problems?)

Hi,
you cant manually change any param in the phone app, but you can export the parameters from within the flame library via email and edit them in the full application.
You can only play with the flames using one of the "generative" modules.
This is why interactive editing is currently too slow to bee really fun,but I plan later versions for the next years with full touch-screen-editing.
You can export the image from within the interactive renderer. The exported image usually looks better than the "realtime-preview".

Yes, the app uses all available cores, and I'm sorry if there is a bug which does not clean up all threads when you exit the app. I will remove this with next update.

Best regards,
Andreas

The fully editable version sounds good!

"You can export the image from within the interactive renderer." Could you pls. explain how? embarrass

You must render it, i.e., you enter the interactive renderer, select a flame from the flame library and press then later the export button. This can be done during rendering, but it makes sense to wait for quality 3 % at least, but depends on the flame.

JWildfire is an excellent addition to the Android Play Store! It is the currently best way to generate flame fractals on that platform I have yet discovered.  Thanks for this useful port/
