I wrote this last night, a poem, a sonnet, or a song lyric, and thought this might be a good place to share it. Anybody want to set it to music? :-)

Sweet Julia.

You always seem so real to me,
yet some of your parts are imaginary.
Our love, you see, is quite complex,
as your sweet countenance reflects.
Whatever love you render for me,
I know you'll do it recursively.
I joyfully reiterate,
you truly are my perfect mate.

Sweet Julia.

Our love goes on to infinity
in a spiral quite rapidly.
I'm trapped here in an orbit of you,
and loving everything you do.
With each new discovery,
every nook and cranny I see,
I peer deeper into your soul
(with parameters that I control).

Sweet Julia.

I know even you were surprised
by what Mandy brought into our lives.
I assure you from my point of view
all of her best parts come from you.
You both keep my full attention
as you reveal your many dimensions.
I would dare to reiterate
you'll always be my perfect mate.

Sweet Julia.

I'm a spectator of your vectors, yeah.
Taking tours of your contours, yeah.
Zooming in on your fiddly bits, y'all
and loving every bit of it.
I dig it all!

Z=Z**2+c, you see.
Z=Z**2+c, you see.
Z=Z**2+c, you see.
Z=Z**2+c, you see.
(fade out)

BTW, the "Julia" in "Julia set" is not a woman's first name, but a man's surname: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaston_Julia

Yeah, I know that, but poetry is art, ya know, and anything goes. Don't go spoilin the metaphor with facts :-). Were not exactly working with reality here, but in a fantasy universe made by manipulating numbers.

Seriously, how many of current company have lives where fractals sometimes take precedence over interacting with humans, wife, kids, friends? Some wives may consider themselves Fractal Widows, no doubt. To some, I know to some extent to me, fractal exploration can be quite absorbing and time consuming. So much to learn, so much to see, new adventures with each little adjustment. Exploring these dimensions is a great love of my life, so why not write a love sonnet? Feminizing the objects of my affection just seems natural. I give my cars women's names, too, in the great nautical tradition.

OMG! lol!
Lycium, how could you just write that single comment in the face of pure poetry, man? You crack me up! Hope i am not offending you, but it just tickled me . Of course you are right!

May a trochoid of ¥h¶h iteratively entrain your Logos Response transforming into iridescent fractals of orgasmic delight and joy, with kindness, peace and gratitude at all scales within your experience. I beg of you to enrich others as you have been enriched, in vorticose pulsations of extravagance!
