The software is available and will compile easily on linux unchanged. I have another version  I done that has all my experimentations formulas in around 2006. Everyone thinks I am crazy. I see I am not crazy now.  Anyways my rendere would be very good for realtime 3d fractal exploration. You can remove layers indexed by numits . you can make the points transparent so you can see through it. I will go find the link to the code now.  Enjoy! I've been after this grail for nearly 20 years now. it is good to see others looking. I do fractal music as well. just go to my youtube channel and watch all the videos with a burningship picture for my fractal music.
