My first anim in a while... dead comp = no fractals. 
A rotated mandelbox with _helispherical applied.
I attempted an HD encoding, but am not sure it did what I wanted.  First time's always sketchy, right?

I may just be too tired to want to doink with this, but how would I embed the vimeo vid like the youtube one that gives you the inline player?  Flash and URL didn't do what I wanted...
As always, feedback is always appreciated.  Oh, and I apologize for a very abrupt back-up and reentry right around the mid-point(~1:00).  I didn't remember doing that until I saw it, again.  I did try some experimentation with specularity and palette "envelopes," which seemed to work pretty well, going from a little too shiny to matte in a fairly satisfying way.
