Just a rough animation of the Cheops fractal I have been posting images of lately:

Just wondering why the movie is so jerky, is it my slow computer or is there probably a problem with the animation rendering?

Nevertheless a nice fractal  smiley

No jesse, not the rendering, it is not this jerky in the original file, can it be a keyframe problem?
I have a feeling that my animations gets jerky on youtube, might be something I do wrong in the export from Photoshop?

I think the unsteady motion is caused by a resampling along the time axis, i.e. frame rate conversion. I guesstimate that there are around five jumps per second, so this could be the difference between PAL 25 fps and NTSC 30 fps. Make sure that the whole processing chain, from creation over photoshopping to final encoding uses the exact same frame rate.

You probably have a point there hobold... But I only do ONE export from PS at 25 fps, could it be that youtube changes this framerate?  afro

Thank you P8!

I think this place deserves a better and longer render, must take some time to do one...
