When I 1st saw a videos like yours I thought "I gotta learn how to do that" Then when I read about mandelbrot & was totally absorbed!

Thank you all for enjoying the movie. I couldn't have done it without information from this forum and Mandelbrot himself. In fact he has changed my life and my way of thinking. I believe he has touched us all. He will be truly missed.

Its sad to hear the news. I found him inspirational because he didn't achieve success by having his head stuck in a book of formulas, instead he spread his ideas to the general population, emphasising imagery and playing with ideas as ways to learn. I think it will be a long time before we really appreciated what he brought, and we all use fractals like we use euclidean ideas today.
