This is a very old project I started exploring before I had my quad-core system dedicated to fractal rendering, and also before good frame interpolation was in my software. Back then, it was impossible to render this video in a reasonable amount of time--it would have taken about 8 months to a year. With the current hardware and software, it takes only about 9 days!

This is a deep-zoom to a size of 1.9e-78. The 9000 video frames with 720x480 pixels in this animation were derived from 163 master images using digital zooming techniques that many fractal drawing programs use.

A great zoom

Lots of 4- 8- and 16- symmetries, ending in yet an other Mandelbrot...
