This animation is based on the use of a (0,0,0) julia mode mandlebulb to render a sphere.  I then add the _translate function, as Brutal Toad and Jesse showed me to create a torus, and manipulate it in a number of ways over Paganini's 16th Caprice.  The result is fluid and kind of different from what I've done before.  Enjoy.

Thanks.  I probably will at some point.  I just go with whatever crosses my mind as "hey, that would look cool" and go with it, so I'll probably get back to playing with Triple Zero Julia again.
