My first 360° fractal animation created with Mandelbulb 3D.
Switch directly to youtube (youtube-link at the player bar), because forum player doesn't serve the 360 degree navigation!
At youtube: use WASD-keys or wheel in top left corner to navigate through fractal space.
Works not in Internet Explorer! Use Firefox or Chrome or...
Check it out in 2160p for maximum resolution (compression still kills a lot of details).
Best experience with Cardboard, Oculus Rift, Gear VR or other VR-devices.

Code:

... feel the fractal all around you  roll eyes

Really cool work!
The guy from the Epic VR channel sent me the link this morning - it looks great on my phone, haven't tried yet with oculus - can I download the animation file somewhere to try it on my VR headset?

Thank you Bryan, Luca and Julius for your positive feedback.

There is now an 800MB, less compressed version of this video available for download at WEARVR:
https://www.wearvr.com/apps/caleidoscope-eye-iv-sirius
Enjoy with more details!

Julius: feedback from the VR headset experience would be great  Azn

Thank you Truman and Johan   smiley

Very nice work!  I'm sure that took a lot of patience.

Well just one week for 2650 frames at 3820x2160.
Currently preparing my Fractal Death Valley for 360° and I estimate a rendering time of about 25 days  shocked
