When I was a teenager, I saw fractals for the first time.
On television.
I was immediately fascinated by them.
In 1998 my husband bought a computer and one of the first things I did with it, was downloading Fractint.
For hours I just sat down and watched the magic after altering some words or numbers...

Now, years later I am still fascinated by fractals.
Fractal Explorer, Sterlingware, Ultra Fractal and many more programs I tried and enjoyed.

Indeed: "the possibilities are infinite".

Welcome to the forums, Titia!

I particularly like this image of yours called "Meadow", it immediately shows how close Fractals can come to resemble everyday scenes:

Yes Jules, the netherlands :-)

It seems there are a lot good fractalists in the Netherlands and Belgium (and Margit of course : Germany)
On Renderosity, in the fractalcommunity, I learned to know a lot fractalist. Often when I tried to write in my best English, I discovered I was writing to a Dutch person.
