Description: Getting an error when trying to install on Mac with Yosemite

I followed the installation instructions on my Mac, program starts and I get the error message: "Error: Can't open file /usr/share/mandelbulber2/qt_data/fractal_mandelbulb.ui Fractal ui files can't be loaded"

Using OS 10.10.5

Not sure what to do. I looked elsewhere here and it talks about using the console but I'm not a programing person.

Any help please. Loved the version 1.x and can't wait to start with this.

Welcome, the problem is that mandelbulber cannot find files in your system; it's a common route other people took as well, some files are not copied, only main sw is. http://www.fractalforums.com/mandelbulber/mandelbulber-v2-installation-mac/ When you have done (and if you succeed), could you please confirm me that everything is fixed?  smiley

In OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) a new feature called System Integrity Protection (or rootless) could create similar problems.  hurt
