Basically, this post is an attempt at expressing my amazement at the (relatively) newly discovered 3D object known as the Mandelbox.

I was probably one of many who was drawn back into the world of fractals due to the discovery and subsequent publicity of the Mandelbulb by our friend, well I call him skytopia guy (I loved his 'fruit' site years before all this for some reason!). Anyway, upon hearing about and then seeing the Mandelbulb I was hooked.

Actually, I take it back - I can't fully explain the incredible fact that an entire new universe has been opened up to us through the mandelbox. It's an amazing place. I defy anyone who can categorise it or even begin to attempt to explain the varied nature of the world. Is this was Julia thought all those years ago? Do we need another 'Mandelbrot' to come and put it all into order...?
