So would I! I'm a programmer but have no clue as to how to go about writing my own voxel renderer, so I'm stuck using an off the shelf one that is limited by the amount of ram in my video card. With 1GB i can do no more than 512x512x512x8 bits/voxel, so that's why the low res.

That is very pretty. What is the formula? Nice to see an interior view of a julia set. It is a julia set, right?

The formula is a magnetic phase-change model from the Science of Fractal Images book (pg 128). There are two models presented, this is the short one:

zn = ((z^2+c-1)/2z+c-2)^2

It is a julia set, here's another rendered "soft" mainly to cover the low resolution render, but it's got a nice glow to it.
