I've some troubles with render parameters made with , eg., 1.6 version and then rendered with 1.793 version, why?

Thanks.

too bad, this can happen everytime you use a different version, best is to render older parameters just with the exact version you used to create them,
it is not a commercial product, and so the programmer can change everything he likes from version to version, and it happens quite often that improvements
or changes are incompatible with older versions ... many users keep all older versions of the program in separate directorys, to keep the possibility to re-render
stuff....

you might try searching in the download section
http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=downloads;cat=5

it seems that just latest branch is available, @jesse do you remove older versions from downloads ?!?!?

I found one issue if 'min iterations' is bigger 1 and 'Raystep sub DEstop' is turned on, then it can happen that raymarch steps back (what is not good  wink )
Will fix that.

I clean up the download section from time to time, there were to many versions.  But if someone needs urgently a special version we should find a solution anyway, at least per privat post.
