Tell me if I'm being silly but I had an idea for a Repeat along axis formula.  The formula would allow you to repeat an object any number of times along an axis of your choosing.  Is this possible?

Yes - just include a modulus mapping such that the moduli used on each axis are centred/offset and scaled as the user wishes.
This could be done as a simple transform of the render space or iteratively as part of the fractal formula.
Of course naive implementation will produce discontinuities but there are various ways to avoid this - similar to the methods of avoiding discontinuities when applying folding etc.

This is already possible with the current formulas, play a bit with them before asking. Thank you.

Thanks both.  I'm always playing with the formulas and trying new things and I wouldn't have asked if I had any idea.  Try to understand my position Darkbeam - I'm mathematically braindead and rely heavily on trial and error.  Thanks anyway and thanks for your hard work on M3D.

If you need to tile escapetime formulas use _boxtiling or _foldinginfy instead wink
