I've jumped ship from Mandelbulber, finally got it to install, but crashes on render, and seeing the GUI in Mandelbulb 3D, it looks friendlier, so back to an install issue. I found this link — http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?355yzk3xdkdb47y — to what I understand to be the mac version, but what unzips is a folder with an exe trying to open in Word. I DO appreciate a helping hand. Another question, assuming I can get the app to install and open, does Mandelbulb 3D support stereoscopic output? Thanks in advance.

Hi bengvc.

I run Mandelbulb 3D on my mac all the time, but I use the windows build and run it under WINE  (actually, crossover, which is a souped up version of WINE).

I have heard WINE works just as well, but never tried it.  It's a WINdowsEmulator and does not require a windows install or a license for windows to function. 

Give it a try!  I run many windows fractal generators on my mac with it.

It runs with vine. But can you please explain to me how i can save images now? I think I need to create a virtual disk or sth? I'm completely helpless...
