Description: Not quite a julia, more like julia + mset, so I called this Quasi Julia Set.

Well, there are no good buddhabrot julia sets. It allways generates some boring dots or rings of no value. Probably becouse all orbits are linear and exactly linear repeats the same pattern in all scales.

But with slight modification (mix of julia set and mandelbrot set).
Starting conditions:
z=randompixel
c=julia seed + randompixel
(mset -> z=0, c=randompixel; julia -> z=randompixel, c= julia seed.)
Iteration loop:
z=formula(z)+c.

Orbits are much more fractaling.

Celtic Mandelbrot

Bumblebrot

Magnet II. IMHO, looks the most julia like:

Royal Mandelobrot. This is dharmic:

Rendered with my brahmabrot buddhabrot version. http://www.fractalforums.com/fractal-programs/problems-with-implementing-budhabrot-in-uf/
Realy hadn't much time to search for good julia seed, so some are too chaotic.
So far it is uploaded only in Chaos Pro, but eventualy 'll be in Ultra Fractal EM.ucl as Brahmabrot http://www.chaospro.de/formulas/display.php?fileid=238

Two more quasi julia sets. Not a real julia sets, but something like M-sets broken with julia seeds, throught they adds more variance in buddhabrots. This definetely don't increase render speed.

Swirlbrot with julia seed.

And a zoom into normal mandelbrot formula with julia seed, revealing some very common fractal patterns othervise unseen with buddhabrots.

Thanks for kind words and dithyrambs:)

The same z=z^2+c spot and seed, but with sinus as colour transformation. Lines suddenly here become very noticable. Not shure what they represent.
