Hey peeps!

I'm the new guy, and I noticed that this forum is mainly focused on visual/image fractals. I'm actually writing a synthesizer that uses a fractal algorithm to generate sound, so not your typical fractal, but I think that the knowledge about fractals applies everywhere.

Anywho, I was wondering...where do you discuss fractals themselves? Didn't see a dedicated forum for that, maybe I'm just blind! smiley

Anyways, hey everyone!

Welcome! Your app sounds interesting. They just started a fractal music board here under "other artforms". Isn't it nice, your first day and your already label the "other" smiley Most fractals have there own little thread going so I'm not sure where you should start. A guru will be along shortly I'm sure.

welcome to the forum smiley

i've had some ideas for audio fractals, but it's another matter entirely to make something which sounds nice... have you perchance addressed this issue?

Hi!  I'm a musician and I'm interested in experimental music and sounds.  Will your synth be a VST instrument?  Nice to meet you.
