Yes it is!  Pity we couldn't get 'the big man' Mandelbrot himself (see Fractal Forums News board why not) but still it's excellent news.

EVEN THOUGH he's just pumped-and-dumped a link to his new book! tsk

Hi,

alan2here mentions that 3 Barnsley fractals are "awesome".  I looked around the forum but have not found these images.  Are they somewhere on the forum?

No single image could do it justice, as in the mandlebrot set, you need some software to explore it
