je ne l'ai jamais entendu au masculin.
Benoit mandelbrot (étant francophone) dit "Un objet fractal" (au masculin) et "une fractale" (au feminin).

Je confirme, Mandelbrot avait introduit "Fractal" au masculin mais c'est le féminin qui s'est imposé à l'usage.
Sinon, la seule utilisation que j'ai pu croiser du masculin concerne "le fractal de Rauzy".
