Hello there Fractal know-it-alls!

I'm Isabel van der Lijke (don't try to pronounce it) and as the titel says, I'm from Holland and I'm 16 years old.
And as for the reason I've made an account on this forum is because I have to make a paper about Fractals for Maths.
But because I'm just a small girl, I'd like for some help for this, nothing big really! Just some easy formula's that are used with/for fractals.
It is quite a selfish request (atleast, I think so) but I'd really appreciate some help.

I've actually searched on Wikipedia of course, but the formula's there were too.. complicated..
So.. To round off this introduction (as I didn't know where to post this request elsewhere really) it would really help my selfish self for your aid with.. well maybe a site with some useful information about fractals. That would already help me alot..
Well.. Thanks in advance anyway!

Hi.  Nice to meet you.  I'm not a fractal know all, but if you ever want a good Julia set from a straight Mandelbrot, try these seeds:  x= -0.78  y= 0.13.  There are plenty of people here who can give you better help than me and I'm sure you'll get a reply soon.  Good luck with your work.
