Also known as the Trippy Gateway. This intricate machine is used to create the most powerful drug known in Erignea. Although it's not entirely illegal, Moonshine Trips are frowned upon by some. Countless studies have been conducted to determine the health effect of Moonshine Trips. There seems to be no detrimental effect at all. The total loss of reality you experience when taking the drug scares some of the more frugal inhabitants of Erignea, but since the effect wears off only seconds after you stop taking the stuff, there's no real reason to prohibit the use.

The operation of a Moonshine Gateway is an intricate process, involving several complex unit operations. The knowledge of these operations is closely guarded by a secretive organisation, known as the Moonshiners Guild. Every year, during the northern solstice, the Guild chooses its initiates. None of the Chosen have ever betrayed their guild. None have ever left the guild.
