I just found my way here yesterday after somehow stumbling across the awesome Mandelbulb pics over at Skytopia. They linked to this place, so I figured it was worth a look. Lotsa nifty software and pix to waste untold hours on.

I co-admin an SMF site myself and am currently on the SMF team, so that caught my eye about this place too (I get a bit parochial like that).

Glad you like what you see.  I hope to see you download some prgrams and then show us what you discover   

Nice to see somebody from the SMF Team here!  Whenever we have problems I can't figure out myself, the SMF Help Forums always come through quickly every time I post  (I use this name there too, and at other forums I help out with).

I'm sure our Admin will have some questions for you about how best to handle the rapidly filling database here, so you've been warned!

Well tbh I'm mainly a markup/css sort of dude so the db intracacies are not my specialty. I know a bit about them but not an awful lot.

Btw, I think I just found an obscure bug in 1.1.x. Now I have to check that it's fixed in 2.0 (and I bet it isn't yet).
