Newton fractal generated by homemade software. It was colored by selecting pixels from an input photo: Books 6 by ~Brenda-Starr~ on Flickr. (I'm grateful to ~Brenda-Starr~ for licensing her work with Creative Commons.) I post-processed the nearly final image in GIMP.
