Hello everyone,
I’m a final year Vfx & Motion Graphic student from Britain, I’m currently working on a project that deals with audio/visual experiences and the future of the entertainment industry.
My collaborative final piece deals with mind expansion with the aid of technology. I have recently come across mandelbulb 3d and fractal art. This stuff has blown me away! and I have become very excited over the possibilities of this software.

I would love to use madelbulb visuals in my work but unfortunately I have come across this amazing software a little too late in my project. would anyone allow me to use excerpts or clips of their amazing video art or experiments in my project. anyone who helps me out will be mentioned on the credits of my project.

My project really aims to promote and draw attention to this type of software and my vision of the future really encompasses these amazing visuals. I am fascinated with what this forum has to offer and I only wish i had more time to experiment with this software.

can someone help me out?

thanks a bunch!

I'd be glad to contribute if anything I've done fite what you are looking for.

Here's my Gallery here:

And many of my animations are here:

Have fun!

EDIT - Not sure how high resolution I have these things in, but time permitting, anything can be re-rendered   (but fractal animation render times are not quick!)

My own stuff is now a bit dated, but to get something close to what you're looking for I'd suggest you browse around for a while at YouTube (and maybe Vimeo) for "Mandelbulb" and "Mandelbox" and then contact the artists who created the animations via their YouTube or Vimeo contact details - that way you could have animations from different artists rather than just one or two, giving a better perspective (forgive the pun) on the possibilities that fractals present.
You could start by checking out the 'bulb and 'box animations in my favourites here:

From a gaming point of view, given the CPU and/or GPU horsepower (and hardware improvements for GPU to handle doubles) to render these then some extra gaming requirements are fairly straightforward, especially collision detection since the algorithms used for rendering inherently use distance estimation but also even potentially for controlled destruction of specific areas of the fractals because specific areas of a fractal generally have a "genetic code" that can be tested during rendering such that certain areas are removed or even disconnected to become separate objects (especially those not involving powers such as KIFS and full escape-time RIFS and to a lesser extent the Mandelboxes).

thanks for the advice,

I really believe that there is great potential in this sort of software, the idea of exploring landscapes that seem boundless,
and that could evolve really inspires me.
I think that it is steps like these that explore the possibilities of total immersion (virtual reality).
From a creators perspective, I think that this is a very exciting process to watch unfold.
