Boobs in the Mandelbrot set!

I am now convinced that with some creative zooming techniques, you can literally find just about anything in the Mandelbrot set!

Or, according to Freudian psychology, the paintings merely reflected the deeply suppressed musings of her subconscious.

On the other hand, I deliberately set out to find something within a purely mathematical object, and succeeded in doing so.

Crosses, swastikas, chromosomes, and all sorts of other symbols/imagery can also be found within the set. I have posted several different Mandelbrot themes in my deviantart gallery:

Thanks for the comment. The Mandelbrot set in general is very mesmerizing as well. So are boobs, LOL.

A while back, I rendered an HD (1280x720) zoom movie in pieces. Fractal Extreme has no panning option, so I have to back up a handful of zoom levels until the position shift is no longer noticeable, then zoom back in. I have to do it this way in order to show the finer details, because the boob formations are not exactly centered about the centroid. The individual FX movies will need to be rendered as AVI files, then I will use AviDemux to join the segmentsend to end. AviDemux has been a life-saver in joining together AVI files from incomplete zoom movies that could not be rendered together in a continuous stream due to power failure or CPU crash. I will eventually get a youtube video posted, but I have to focus on school as my main priority.

I'm pretty new to fractals so I might be talking BS but I suppose you can find virtually anything as the mandelbrot is infinte, just as you can find any rational number hiding in pi. I guess the difference is that the mandelbrot is partially restricted due to it following certain rules.

Very Nice, and most natural looking effect! What type of formula does that video use?

Here's a new one I came up with yesterday, playing around with Panzerboy's Burning Ship plugin for Fractal Extreme (same color scheme as my previous Mandelboobs fractal). How the heck do I keep finding this stuff?

Sadly, my version of UltraFractal 5 (Express edition) does not support video animation, mainly because I'm a cheap skate and I've already got FX, which is light years faster...
