  Just a weird one:
Code:
r1=sqrt(sqr(sx)+sqr(sy));
r2=sqrt(sqr(sy)+sqr(sz));
z1=complex(r1,sz)^n;
z2=complex(sx,r2)^n;
z3=complex(sx,sy)^n;
z4=complex(sy,sz)^n;

r3=r1^-n;
r4=r2^-n;

nx=sqrt(sqr(part_r(z2))+sqr(part_r(z1)*part_r(z3)*r3));
ny=sqrt(sqr(part_r(z1)*part_i(z3)*r3)+sqr(part_i(z2)*part_r(z4)*r4));
nz=sqrt(sqr(part_i(z1))+sqr(part_i(z2)*part_i(z4)*r4));

add in negative absolute value pixel components-- or try other things if you want, more structure with type 0 - pixel...

Thanks KraftWerk.  cheesy  I like your artwork over at deviant art...  browsed through your stuff a few weeks ago.  Nice...  Now if my mathematically inclined brain became a bit more artistic....

  I'm pretty sure that's the z^2 version, using all negative pixel absolute values, looking down the x axis on the one side...

  hahaha... well, as long as one of us can kick ass at art and the other does so with math, I suppose we are fine in some sense.  We all got somethin' to do.
