Has anyone ever tried creating a sculpture of the mandelbulb, or other 3D fractal?  I came across a Menger sponge someone had generated in one of those CAD rapid prototype machines, and figured someone out there has to have a bulb s/he can hold in their hand.  Anyone?

I may be mistaken, but I think fractals rendered in Chaoscope can be turned into physical models.  For a price of course wink
