Gallery Update

i am happy to announce the working update of the gallery software, adding
some nice new features:

"UNVIEWED" - view unviewed images ( this ought to be a lot at the begining, >2500 images in database ) - to be found on top
"FAVORITE" - add images to your favorites - to be found on the bottom

I don't see these two new options. And I think it was better to display the most viewed and top rated in the last 30 days rather than since the beginning of the forum.

Maybe I'm just being a bit of an old reactionary, but what has happened to the gallery?!
The new layout seems to give priority to images that were posted years ago, and which therefore over
time have naturally accrued many views and ratings.
Unfortunately, this now means that the bulk of images at first view in the gallery are rather old, and not
truly representative of the current, and ever-changing state of fractal art.
The 30 day time period was, I felt, a more representative way of showing current trends in
fractal art. This new layout looks more like a history lesson! 
Or is this temporary and I am missing some 'in joke'?

the kast 30 view on the front page is a patch of myself in the gallery, i will update the current version of the gallery to display the
resent images list again

Recently added are no longer in order.  Also what does "new" mean.  They are not newly added..

nope. The "new" label remains after having viewed the image and refreshed the gallery page.

Btw the recent pictures section does not display the most recent.

I guess we have to let Trifox fine-tune the code a little bit

First of all, I rarely visit the Galleries.  So not sure what is good there and what is not.  But I did notice something at the bottom of the initial web page, in the section entitled "Gallery Admin Panel".

There is a line of text that reads:
      Comments reported: 6      Check Reported Comments

And when I follow the link, there is nothing listed under the "Reported Comments" section.  Why does it say there are six reported comments and give a link if it is not going to show them??
