Here is a High-res, High bailout, high step-limit image of the "spine" of a power 8 mandelbulb.
(Specially made for Trafassel, the Spine-animator)

One of the best mandelbulb renderings I've ever seen!   the wave
How much noise your graphics card did while rendering  grin... and how long did it take?

Thank you mr K:IFS!!! smiley

The GPU fan is giving up soon...

This image is a stitch of 25 4000 x 4000 pixel parts.
Each part takes about 1 hour to render (high settings, old computer), s0 about 25 hours.

The full mandelbulb image (will be ready in a couple of weeks) will consist of more than 200 4k x 4k parts.

So, stay tuned! wink

I can't wait. The image you have now is already so large I can only view it in Photoshop.
