Hi. This is my first post on this forum. I used to play with Fractint on DOS back in the day. I loved reading the information page it had for each fractal type; I learned a lot that way. I also made some of my own fractal formulas (mostly by throwing in a conjugation here and there in the well known fractals).

Fast forward to today. I have a PhD in plasma physics. I do some research in turbulence in plasmas, which is fractal in nature. Anyways, I look forward to reading and posting about fractals.
