Someday, man will understand primary theory; how every aspect of our universe has come about. Then we will describe all of physics, build a complete understanding of genetic engineering, catalog all planets, and find intelligent life. And then we'll just puzzle over fractals for eternity.

IMHO this is the best fractal video I've seen (of any fractal)

IMHO this is the best fractal video I've seen (of any fractal) Because you are a connoisseur Most people think the best fractal videos are Mandebrot set deep zooms, which could be great too! The current vid rendering on my PC is based on the same fractal, so wait for a few days for more fun! But I will probably put it on hold to keep some CPU to play with Buddhi's renderer for Windows

Bib this is awesome. Is the light source moving with you? I wonder about the huge shadow moving from left to right around 18"-20" in. The only thing I wish was added to the video was the initial entry to the box so we could imagine what scale we were at relative to the whole thing.
I am intrigued by the "railroad track" on the floor (and ceiling!) of the big chamber... and, when you look to the left and we see a yellow outline, is that the outside? Would we see the same (but reflected) if we looked to the right?
Thank you for these inspiring vids!

Yes there is some ambient light plus one light source which is moving with the camera.
In my next video you will see a global view of the cube before we enter into it and follow the "rail"
And yes the yellow outline is the outside. And yes if we looked to the right we would see the same (reflected).

The mandelbrot set is an interesting fractal with alot of variety. But it's such a simple fractal that everybody can render a deep zoom, so it's nothing special anymore. Keep up the good work, your video's are special! I like that too, to see fractals I had never seen before.

So here is the next one...a little travel through the cube... There are plenty other things I could do, but I feel I am at a point where I need some new inspiration and motivation. Maybe I spent too much time fractaling in the last 6 months... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xe0tXvepoUI

Great video again, Bib! I think the last one is one of the best ive ever seen, at least from the box (hard to say one is the best because every one is unique). It gives a very good impression from the complexity + structure of the box!
Of course, Buddhi's one is great too.
