I had three files sitting in my queue folder from v 2.10, all animations. The icons screenshots will display, the window looks normal, and then the entire system will crash every time. Every single time.

I had to copy and paste the fract file over to another place from the queue and then run it in the main program. The queue window is hosed forever for me. Mandelbulber will crash. I tried even deleting out the Q files, but Mandelbulber still thinks they're there, just won't show their icon. So I put them back. Icons back. Mandelbulber waits for about 15 seconds and then crashed. Every single time.

Cheers!

Hi

I cannot reproduce this problem. Would be great if you send me (by email) those files which were in your queue folder.
In addition you can send me queue.fractlist file which is located in /home/paigan0/.mandelbulber folder (under Linux) or in C:Userspaigan0mandelbulber (under Windows)

I will put that files into my folders and see what is going on.

I have added your bug report to our issues/enhancements list: https://github.com/buddhi1980/mandelbulber2/issues

Buddhi, I attached my queue files. There were 3 jobs I was working on. It was easier to just attach the .rar file to this post, and there was nothing in the queue I wouldn't have shared with the forum anyway. These 3 jobs display in the queue but it will crash in 15 seconds when displaying the Q pane. Cheers and thanks!

Follow up post: I sent you the files via email. I deleted out the files in my queue and altered the queue list file. Restarted the PC. Now there's nothing in my queue...but it will still crash all of Mandelbulber about 15 seconds after the queue pane is displayed. I tried running the queue pane nested and by itself. Every time it crashed MB. I re-installed v 2.11 and tried again. Empty queue but MB crashes within 15 seconds.

It works on my other computers, although I haven't tried loading any actual jobs, just tried displaying the window. But on my main system, it crashes every single time.

Cheers!

Replaced the queue list file with a working one from one of the other PCs. Still crashes. No matter what I do, I cannot view the queue pane on my main PC. I tried disconnecting from the Netrender, tried restarting and viewing the Q before doing anything else. That will cause an instant crash. I re-installed, but I did not try (yet) wiping out every Mandelbulber file on the PC and starting again. I'm hoping you'll find the bug and in the meantime,  I can just load the files manually instead of using the Q. Thanks!

Now it's silly. I deleted out everything possibly Mandelbulber on my system (to include my OCL setup for 1.21. But I made a backup.) I uninstalled Mandelbulber and then reinstalled it. And then made a video on my cellphone to show: it crashes when I display the Q pane. I think it happens as soon as I move my mouse over the Q render display window, which means it might be a visual GUI error. See my video I emailed you for a screenshot of the error that returns when the debug window pops up.

I give up. I'm not touching the Q anymore until a new version. Thanks for the help! I'll see what you find. Cheers.  A Beer Cup

Standalone version you sent me works just fine. Definitely triggered by moving the mouse over the Q render display. When the cursor turns to the + cross, system crash. Doesn't happen in the stand alone you sent me to test. Cheers and thanks!
