Number one..

Straightforward Hybrid of Mandelbuld & Collatz Fractal with Julia mode enabled - coordinates zero.
Slightly enhanced using Color > Levels, in the GIMP.

The box folded version produced some unusual 'architecture'. One of these days, I'd like to get back to it and explore some more.

I'd say you need to turn up (literally, down) the raymarching to a smaller value so the fractal renders without the black, fuzzy areas. But a good scene!

Thanks, paigan0.
Iirc, it was set to "High quality" for Raymarching "Optimisation". So.. I'm not sure I can improve on that.

Anyway, I'm rather fond of the "noise" in the lighter/white areas. It appears to glisten and provides a nice complement to the smooth surfaces, imo.
I don't recall I checked it out at 100% before, but, yes, now I can see the problem of which you speak.  A Beer Cup

Might be worth experimenting with "Non-DE shading mode" on this one?
