A zoom into Supercollider, close to the edge of the big ring in that image.

One layer provides a color tint and the other is an additive greyscale DE layer.

That looks great!
The whole thing smiley However, I especially like that eye-shape that repreats itself in a spiral to even form something like a differently coloured pupil smiley

Yep, it's "just" an ordinary z2 + c Mandelbrot.
