Yeah it's annoying that there are a lot more terms which just apply to males, guy dude fellow. But guys now refers to both colloquially. I guess hey people/folks would be fine but I struggle more finding an alternative for hey dude, hey man. Hey girl doesn't seem as casual more whimsical. So i just stick to guys and dude regardless of sex sorry
