It runs in real time on my 10 year old GPU.  cheesy

Put the raytracer (2d palette with slices.frag) in your include directory (folder).  The other file wherever.

The newer one might have updated presets... I don't recall.

For a few of the presets, just try changing the rotations, maybe splitrad1 - splitrad4.  If all splits are set to even numbers, use the evenRotation checkbox (rotateEven checkbox... thanks brain).

Pause for an image from a series of swords1 preset with rotations.. Gotta go!

kaleidoscope was one of my favorite toys as a kid cheesy
Nice one!

just a heads up, 2DCamera doesn't play nice with keyframes sad , all 2D frags will segfault when the second keyframe is added so don't add any, easingcurves still work though wink next patch release (v1.0.29) will disregard 3D keyframes when using a 2D frag

it's really fun & fast.thanks Matt,,, Dick is that why i get crashes when i add a second keyframe?! I thought that was just something i was doing...or is it? .....me? paranoid?..who said that!
Now for another silly question..how do i animate it if it crashes on adding a keyframe? how do i input any range?

cheesy Crashes here too at keyframe2. But learned a new trick: easing curves. Might be the best bet for 2D?

Grin with closed eyes^ What Sabine and 3dickulus said Tim- I was just using easing curves (select one of the sliders and hit F7), so didn't run into the animation problem.  Didn't even think of keyframes to tell you the truth, because I wasn't altering camera location.

I think you can use easing curves to change camera location and zoom (one of the variables in "default" is a secondary zoom, forget what I called it in the online version...) until 3D fixes the 2d easing curve code.
