Hello, I came across an example of Mandelbulber accidentally on youtube videos.
I have not used fractal software before but as it was free I downloaded it too find out what it could do and see if I could find a use for it. Any help or advice would be more than welcome.
I went straight in and downloaded Mandelbulber2 but most of the guides I could find are based on previous versions. The panels are laid out differently so it is taking some time to try and fathom out how to use it effectively.
The application comes with a handful of background images, my main question is can I generate a fractal background and then save/use that as the basis for a new fractal on top?
It would not need to be completely in focus but I would prefer as much detail/definition as possible. I graduated in Fine Art and I was wondering if I could use some of my own abstract art as backgrounds?
I run a Visual Arts online magazine
