Short Bio; I am past middle aged but not old, married, in Michigan, veteran, work as a Facility Manager, background in computers, web development, fractals - Apophysis, Terragon, Ultra Fractal...

I have not done any fractal work in awhile and currently using a Mac.  Last work was PC and I do have a small gallery @ diviantArt under "latcarf"

Please feel free to recommend good Mac fractal programs.

You can have a lot more fun and control, by taking note of johnVV's post.    I have no programming training, but using QT Creator in Linux I soon learnt how to code  custom formulas to Mandelbulber smiley. I hardly ever boot up windows these days.
