Hi guys, some of you my have already noticed, I'm currently working on the V1.90 release of the MB3D software, which will come very soon. As usual, it will be released in this forum as it is the work of all the people of this forum. To prepare the release, I have to ask for help in the following things: 1. Recently, there are lots of great (M Benesi- )formulas around, could anybody please send me a list, which of them should/could be included into the release? 2. When you have any ressource (formula, maps, params) you want to have included, please send me a note/link. 3. Can anybody please tell me how and where to upload the final archive, when done, into this forum? (Would be bad, if it would be at the wrong place at the first place and we had to change the link). Best regards and thanks, Andreas

All the formulas are for the community, if there was any question as to whether I wanted to contribute and be a part of it. I'll try and consolidate them, set naming conventions (check with Luca on that one), and remove duplicate formula types. Update: changed .DEoption for the transforms in the archive to -1 so that they show up in the "Ads" section. If you think that the formula names are short enough (maybe change polyhedronfromsphere to PhedronFromSphere or something...), we're golden. List of them: 11/22/2015 08:34 PM 0 bm3form.txt 11/22/2015 08:04 PM 842 BPine_only.m3f 11/22/2015 08:05 PM 1,632 BT1Pine.m3f 11/18/2015 06:12 PM 3,169 BT1Pinegon.m3f 11/22/2015 07:59 PM 3,113 BT1Pinehedron.m3f 11/07/2015 12:27 PM 1,688 BT2Pine.m3f 11/17/2015 12:47 PM 696 _BPolygonFromCircle.m3f 11/22/2015 08:00 PM 594 _BPolygonToCircle.m3f 11/17/2015 03:14 PM 1,478 _BPolyhedronFromSphere.m3f 11/17/2015 05:35 PM 1,496 _BPolyhedronToSphere.m3f 11/22/2015 08:04 PM 584 _BRotateFromMag.m3f 11/22/2015 08:03 PM 678 _BRotateToMag.m3f 11/21/2015 03:18 PM 679 _BSkewXmaxV1.m3f 11/22/2015 07:57 PM 1,454 _BStellateFromSphere.m3f 11/22/2015 07:55 PM 2,374 _BT1_4D_clampXYZ.m3f 11/22/2015 07:55 PM 1,791 _BT1_4D_Transform1.m3f 11/22/2015 07:55 PM 1,031 _BT1_Transform1.m3f 10/23/2015 12:17 PM 1,284 _BT2_Transform2.m3f 10/23/2015 08:45 PM 1,364 _BT3_Transform3.m3f 10/24/2015 05:32 PM 1,307 _BT4_Transform4.m3f 11/22/2015 08:04 PM 1,459 _BT5b_Transform5b.m3f

thargor, that is fantastic news, having it published here is just fantastic, i am assigning you download-area access, all mandelbulb versions have been uploaded to here: http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=downloads;cat=5you should then be able to create a new download item containing the release, you are now assigned to the admin-download rights, check if you see an "add download" option in the above link

BenesiT1 is BT1_Transform1.m3f in the archive I posted, BenesiT2... The spheric and unSpheric coordinate transforms are duplicated by PolyhedronToSphere and PolyhedronFromSphere.... I also edited the descriptions, and added an option to do multiple Transform 1s every iteration for the newer version of BenesiPine1, which is called BT1Pine in the formula archive I just posted. BenesiPine2 I changed to BT2Pine... etc. So there are a couple of duplicate formulas between the 2 formula packs... and I didn't fix the DE options in the new one, so will have to check it and compare it to Luca's versions. Update: the above formula pack has been updated with correct .DEoption = -1 statement for the transforms (so they show up in the Ads menu!). Update2: I posted formula descriptions in the "a few formulas for Luca" thread.

I'm so excited. are there many updates or just a polishing and official release?
i would love to be able to use more heightmaps at a time (more than 3).

The goal is to have new features for each "type" of user. E.g. users who like to create animations will be able to use animated maps.
