Just wanted to introduce ourselves.  We are REFRAKTAL, an experimental electronic music group trying to spread awareness and spur interest in fractal math, fractal art, etc.  We would like to invite everyone to enjoy our new website REFRAKTAL.COM which includes music conceptually based on fractal philosophy, as well as visual content we've created in Mandelbulb3d and Ultrafractal programs.  Our album release is set for next month in August 2015.  We will be releasing a FREE 4 track EP which will be available for download on our site.

Reason we are posting here is to see if perhaps anyone would be interested in collaborating or helping us out with the visual aspect of our project.  We dedicate most of our time and effort to making the music so right now the visuals we have produced are somewhat lackluster and have lots of room for improvement.  I think you'll find the music works very well with fractal visuals, so if anyone out there has some video projects they need music for, LET US KNOW PLEASE!!!

Here's a link to a video we made on Mandelbulb3d.  I rendered the images and sequenced them into ToonBoom at 12fps to match the timing of the song.  I then exported the Toonboom video into iMovie to add the text.

Obviously, we're still very new to this so I know there's better ways to get higher quality renders.  But for now this was the best we could do with what we had.  Anyways, as I mentioned above, if anyone has videos they want to put music to or if anyone has suggestions as to how I can get higher quality visuals out of these programs without needing a supercomputer, we'd love to hear from you!

Welcome! Nice video and great usage of music. I tend to choose music that is at least a hundred years old - that tends to usually work quite well. I'd recommend using Mandelbulber - it's much more powerful and much more user friendly, and has great keyframe animation for morphing. The visuals are great too.

By the way, I am running out of good music for my videos. I'd be very happy to have your help!
